The American Volkssport Association has been organizing non-competitive walking across the country since 1976, and celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. The Low Desert Roadrunners are a chartered AVA member club — #0157 — under the umbrella of the AVA nationally and the California Volkssport Association here at home.
